Project Objective 1

To be developed and promoted a new CBC tourist product named Green School Education /GSE/ on the territory of Montana district, BG based on integrated tourist services for more sustainable use of Montana and Dolj natural heritage and resources and cultural heritage.

Project Objective 2

To be established a Tourist Information Center/TIC/ in Craiova, RO to provide services for more sustainable use of Montana and Dolj natural heritage and resources and cultural heritage

Project Objective 3

To be promoted the common potential of Montana and Dolj districts based on the natural heritage and resources and cultural heritage for a better tourist stream through elaboration and broadcasting 20 films, radio adds, catalogues, educational and promotional materials etc.

Results expected

  1. A new tourist CBC integrated product named GSE developed on the territory of Montana
  2. A TIC established in Craiova, RO
  3. Minimum 20 sites in Montana and Dolj CBC region promoted as segments of common tourist potential;
  4. Increasing the number of visits to minimum 20 sites promoted in the CBC region of Montana and Dolj;

The project proposes the production and broadcasting /on BG and RO TVs/ of 20 ENG-RO-BG educational films and wide promotion on RO and BG radio stations as a support of unique sites of cultural and natural heritage and attractions on both territories. By this contribution, development of TIC in Craiova, RO and the project target groups chosen for promoting the GSE tourist product the project aims at increasing the number of overnights in the sites supported.

The project proposes the growth on numbers of overnights /compared to the baseline on the beginning of 2014/ is minimum 3000 overnights both on the territories of Montana and Dolj districts.
